This is not your typical doctor’s visit. Each new patient experience is designed to cover everything from an extensive health intake, through innovative lab testing and nutrition support.

Step 1
Lab Work

All new patients are required to complete lab work before their first appointment. Our comprehensive lab panel measures over 65 biomarkers, providing a full metabolic and hormonal evaluation.Before we place your lab order, payment must be collected either by phone or through the Credit Card Storage Form available in your patient portal.Lab testing is the first step in helping us understand your current health status so we can create a care plan that is personalized to you.

Scheduling Your Optimize Appointment

Your Optimize consultation will be scheduled at a time that works best for you, once your labs are completed.After your results are received, our providers will carefully review your labs and create a personalized plan based on your unique health needs.

Comprehensive Consultation

At your Optimize appointment you will meet with your designated provider for a thorough consultation. During this visit, we will:

  • Integrative Health Evaluation
    A deep-dive into your full health history, current symptoms, and long-term goals to uncover the root causes of imbalance.
  • Advanced Lab Review & Biomarker Testing
    In-depth analysis of cutting-edge labs measuring inflammation, nutrient status, metabolic health, cardiovascular risk, and an expanded thyroid panel for a complete picture of your wellness.

    Ample time dedicated to you, so every concern is heard and addressed.
  • Personalized Integrative Health Plan
    A customized roadmap with supplement protocols, dietary and lifestyle strategies, and medication recommendations when appropriate.

    Dedicated time to answer your questions and ensure you feel confident about your next steps.

Step 7
Summary and Next Steps

To ensure you have a clear understanding of your visit, our patient care coordinator will conduct a detailed wrap-up call, summarizing your appointment and outlining the next steps in your personalized care plan. This follow-up ensures that you are fully informed and prepared to continue your journey to optimal health with confidence and clarity.

Please schedule your lab draw at least one week before your Optimize appointment.
  • Local patients: Schedule your lab draw at our Largo office.
  • Out-of-town patients: Schedule at a Quest Diagnostics location.
  • Women who still menstruate: Please schedule your lab draw on day 19, 20, or 21 of your cycle.
Step 4
Patient Portal – Forms & Questionnaires

Please log into your patient portal (link provided via email) and complete all required consent forms and questionnaires before your appointment.
Our providers dedicate significant time reviewing your health history, labs, and questionnaires in advance. Completing your forms ensures that your scheduled visit is focused entirely on your care.

Step 6
Follow-Up Care

Depending on the scope of your personalized treatment plan, additional lab testing may be recommended following your initial consultation. From there, we’ll guide you through each phase of your wellness journey—beginning with foundational optimization of your metabolic, hormonal, and cellular health. Once this groundwork is in place, we’ll transition into the longevity phase of care, where the focus shifts from short-term improvement to long-term vitality, prevention, and sustained healthspan. Our goal is not just to help you feel better now, but to support a thriving, energetic life for decades to come.
